There are examples of traits that are disadvantageous to survival in the organism's environment, but shows advantages when it comes to reproduction, to a degree that the genes do not become extinct. I don't remember the name, so take it for what you will, but there's a fish species Beard Grooming where the males are either small and stealthy, or they are very flashy. The females prefer the flashy males, but at the same time those males have a harder time avoiding getting eaten by other, larger fish. Thus both phenotypes are passed on to the next generation of fish.
If you fast forward a few months, Captain Redbeard, the founder and captain of High Seas Ltd is now firmly on his voyage into providing a high quality, handmade, artisan product for men. The Beard Growth has 5 researched and developed blends that have been used and tested by barbers around the country. The feedback has been astoundingly positive with each blend being given their sea legs.
This may sound ridiculous, but it is best to trim your beard while it is dry. Not only will it prevent the hair from clogging up your trimmer, but it will also ensure that you aren't cutting off more than Organic Beard Oil you want to. Water has a tendency to weigh the hair down, making it appear longer than it is when it's dry. Trimming the beard while it's wet runs the risk of cutting the beard too short and uneven.
We spent close to two months using these trimmers multiple times per week to see how well they dealt with balding, how they trimmed with the beard guides on and off, and how they did quick touch-ups in easy-to-screw-up areas like along the lip and jawline. We also looked at each trimmer's construction, the quality of the blades, whether the trimmer was designed with user ergonomics in mind, how long the device could go between charges, and how much of a pain each was to clean and maintain.
